Homepage Video Plan
Prepared for Melton Norcross & Associates, LLC by Blue Carrot Creative · September 2026
This page shows the short video we’re planning for the top of the new homepage: what it will say, what visitors will see, and how it will sound. Everything here is ready for the final production step. Once you approve, we’ll finish the video in a couple of days.
At a glance
- Length: about 55 seconds.
- Where it goes: on the homepage, behind a play button, with a Place an Account button directly beneath it.
- Purpose: a quick, friendly introduction to Melton Norcross: who you help, how you help, and the next step.
- Tone: professional and confident, never aggressive. It speaks to business owners with past-due invoices from other businesses.
- Style: a professional male narrator (already recorded; listen in section 3), with large on-screen words that highlight what’s being said, in the new website’s navy and gold.
- Footage: licensed stock and custom-created visuals. You don’t need to film or photograph anything.
1. The Story in One Sentence
Past-due invoices cost you time and strain relationships, so Melton Norcross recovers what other businesses owe you, professionally and respectfully, from Texas and Louisiana to anywhere in the world.
2. The Script (actual voice over below)
“What you’ll hear” is the narration, word for word. “What you’ll see” describes the visuals and the large words that appear on screen. If you’d like a change, just reference the scene number.
| Scene | What you’ll hear | What you’ll see |
|---|---|---|
| 1 The problem | “Every business has one: the invoice that’s thirty, sixty, ninety days past due.” | A desk with a stack of invoices at dusk. On screen: 30 → 60 → 90 DAYS PAST DUE |
| 2 The cost | “Chasing it costs you time, and it can strain the relationships you’ve worked hard to build.” | A business owner on the phone; a handshake. On screen: YOUR TIME. YOUR RELATIONSHIPS. |
| 3 Who we are | “Melton Norcross helps businesses recover what other businesses owe them, and has for over thirty years.” | A modern office team at work, then the new logo. On screen: BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS DEBT RECOVERY · 30+ YEARS |
| 4 How we work | “We start with a professional, respectful approach. When an account needs more, we have the tools: skip tracing, asset investigation, mineral liens, and legal action through our attorney network.” | Research, documents, oilfield land and a courthouse. On screen: PROFESSIONAL. RESPECTFUL., then each tool appears as it’s named. |
| 5 Who we serve | “Our roots are in oil and gas, and today we serve commercial clients across many industries.” | A pump jack at sunset, trucks on the highway, a manufacturing plant. On screen: OIL & GAS + MANY MORE INDUSTRIES |
| 6 Where we work | “With offices in Frisco, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana, we collect nationwide and around the world.” | A navy globe with gold connecting lines. On screen: FRISCO, TX · LAFAYETTE, LA · NATIONWIDE. WORLDWIDE. |
| 7 Trust | “And we’re proud to be rated A-plus by the Better Business Bureau.” | Navy background with the official BBB Accredited Business logo. On screen: A+ BBB RATING |
| 8 Next step | “Ready to get paid? Place an account with Melton Norcross today.” | The logo on navy and gold. On screen: READY TO GET PAID? PLACE AN ACCOUNT ↓, with the arrow pointing to the button below the video. |
3. Hear the Narration
The voiceover is recorded. Press play to hear the full script exactly as it will sound in the video.
4. What We Intentionally Left Out
A video is harder to update than a web page, so it only includes details that won’t change. The following stay on the website, where they’re easy to keep current:
- Fees and rates
- Dollar amounts recovered and recovery percentages
- Licensing details
- Client or debtor names
5. What Happens After Approval
The script and narration are complete. Once approved, these final steps take a couple of days.
| Step | What we do |
|---|---|
| 1. Assembly of Visuals, Overlays, and Voiceover | Combine the narration, visuals, on-screen words and background music. ~2 days |
| 2. Launch | Place the finished video on the new homepage, with the Place an Account button beneath it. |
6. What We Need From You
- Script and narration. Approve the script in section 2 and the recording in section 3, or note any changes by scene number.
- Years in business. Is “over thirty years” correct, or should we use a different number?
- Services named. Are you comfortable naming skip tracing, asset investigation, mineral liens and legal action in the video?
